Jacq Hammond, CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader)


Jacq Hammond, CHRP has more than twenty-five years of national and international human resources and management consulting experience. Jacq assists her clients with developing practical solutions to human resources concerns, particularly in the areas of organizational and operational effectiveness, recruitment, policy development, job evaluation, legislative compliance, and outplacement.

Jacq’s expertise spans a variety of business sectors, organizational sizes and diversities, including not-for-profit, government and professional services firms. Jacq started her career with the Bank of Montreal where she moved into progressively more responsible positions during her 11 year tenure. After being the Director of Human Resources for two of Toronto’s most prestigious law firms, she moved to Victoria, British Columbia to assume the role of Vice President of Human Resources for the 1994 Commonwealth Games. Upon her return to Toronto she worked with two well known accounting firms and later assumed the role of Chief Human Resources Officer with the Ontario Securities Commission. In 2005 she moved to Macau to set up Cirque du Soleil’s Asia operations and in 2007 she assumed the role of the Global Corporate Director of Human Resources for DP World in Dubai.

She is a Certified Human Resources Professional (1994), Certified Mediator & Negotiator and a Certified Harassment Investigator.

Jacq has served as a volunteer and board member for various not-for-profit organizations such as the Canadian Liver Foundation, the Aids Committee of Toronto, Gems of Hope, CNIB, Street Kids Association, and is current a member of the St. Catharines’ Kiwanis and a volunteer with Hospice Niagara.

Jacq is a motorcycle enthusiast, a gourmet cook, a singer, and a songwriter, as well as an avid reader and an exercise fanatic.

Jackie Hudson, CHRE



Jackie Hudson

Dedicated to engaging employees in the achievement of business and career goals, Jackie has successfully contributed to corporations in industries ranging from plastics manufacturing to professional services, high technology to health care, and for a wide variety of private, government and non-for-profit organizations.

As a Certified Human Resources Executive, Jackie has proven her effectiveness in strategic alignment of the HR function and in driving employee performance to the overall business vision and strategy. She is well versed in implementing custom people management programs in the disciplines of Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Reward & Recognition, Employee Engagement & Surveys and Succession Planning.

Having served in global positions with a focus on mergers & acquisitions, business start-ups and business turnarounds, Jackie enjoys bringing her experience and knowledge to organizations of all cultures and circumstance.

Jackie enjoys traveling, creative arts, the theatre, music and entertaining family and friends.

Ann Trudeau, CEMC, MBTI


A seasoned professional, Ann possess technical practical knowledge of human resources and labour relations and has established human resources functions from start-up to effective operation. She has been a trusted advisor to senior management and executive teams and has extensive leadership training, strong research and analytical skills, and has worked in both union and non-union operations.

Ann brings solid experience working hands-on with the bargaining process, mediation, grievance handling, internal investigations, designing recruitment initiatives and the creation of job descriptions and policies and procedures. Ann has experience in municipal government, hospitality, gaming, food manufacturing and spent several years with an airline, with assignments in Canada and overseas. Ann possesses a wide breadth and depth of experience in operations, customer service and human resources which includes recruitment, employee relations, mental health, training, health and safety and establishing JHSC’s.

Adriana Carlin,


Adriana CarlinA bilingual Human Resources Professional with over 10 years’ experience developing and maintaining strategic HR services and operations plans.

Adriana specializes in accountability-focused organizational design, job analysis and evaluation, job family/role profile models, performance-based rewards, total compensation strategies, performance management, competencies, and strategic compensation philosophy development.

Enthusiastic about compliance & human rights matters affecting organizations in the US and Canada, she has delivered key solutions to such industries as the health sector, management consulting, education, and media services.

Adriana is currently pursuing her CHRE designation through HRPA and has her HR and Business Management Certificates from Ryerson.

Kathy Hunermund,

Senior Associate

Kathy-Hunermund_IMG4723-01Kathy is an expert in Employment Standards, having worked for 22 years with the Ministry of Labour as an Employment Standards Officer. She was responsible for administering and enforcing the Employment Standards Act’s regulations in order to ensure compliance. She conducted workplace inspections and investigated complaints of alleged violations of the Act. Through her work experience she has developed outstanding investigative, research and decision making skills. She also has the ability to remain objective when dealing with conflict. Between her intimate knowledge of the Act and her education which includes Dispute Resolution, Mediation, Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, Kathy can help employers navigate their way through Ministry of Labour complaints, audits and investigations.

Meghan Butler, B. Com, CHRP


Meghan Butler holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Ryerson University), a Human Resource Diploma (Niagara College), and is a Certified Human Resources Professional. She brings over four years of experience within a consulting environment, and has effectively assisted and managed various Human Resources functions. Her education and experience allows her to bring an in-depth knowledge of business needs, effective Human Resources practices and legislative compliance. She is able to develop and implement strategies to assist clients in a variety of industries in managing their human capital needs. She brings experience performing full-cycle recruitment, outplacement services, policy and procedure development, as well as guidance on compliance matters.

Meghan enjoys aligning human capital with business requirements, and in working with organizations to understand their business needs and how to effectively manage their human capital investments.
